Majilis approved amendments to legislation on struggle against corruption

Today at the plenary Majilis session the deputies approved the bill on amendments and additions to the acts concerning improvement of struggle against corruption in the second reading," the agency reports.

In the first reading the Majilis deputies approved the document at the plenary Chamber session on April 25.

The deputy Valery Doskalov explained that the norm that stipulates "confiscation of incomes and the property received in a criminal way, the responsibility for concealment of corruption crimes, strengthening of responsibility for intermediary and bribery and the responsibility of officials of the foreign states and international organizations for bribery is being introduced to the legislation.

The bill has been forwarded to the Senate.
