The conference is organized by the Civic Foundation “Transparency Kazakhstan” under the support of Delegation of the European Commission to Kazakhstan, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Partnership for Transparency Fund. The main goal of the conference is to show by the example of international experience, mechanisms of public participation in the process of counteracting corruption.
The Conference will involve participants in the discussion about mechanisms of public participation in the processes of counteracting corruption, possibilities of legal protection of citizens and organizations, international experience - Advocacy and Legal Advice Centres, will look at problems of interaction between state institutions and civil society organizations’ in the process of counteraction corruption.
Working agenda of the conference includes presentations and discussions of following issues: counteraction corruption in Kazakhstan, successful samples of interaction between state and the society.
Representatives of Administration of the President of the RK, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Fight against Economic and Corruption Crimes (Finance Police), the Supreme Court of the RK, Majilis of the Parliament, the Ministry of Justice, Office of Prosecutor General, Agency of Public Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs, UNDP, OSCE, European Community, Transparency International Secretariat (Berlin), representatives of diplomatic missions to Kazakhstan, non-governmental organizations of Kazakhstan and Mass Media will take a part at the Conference.
