Recommendations On the Implementation of the UN Convention Against Corruption

Ratification of the UN Convention against corruption (UNCAC) was a very important step, which, undoubtedly, will make a positive impact on the development of the state and society. Kazakhstan confirmed its intention to follow up on international standards in the field of prevention and counteraction of corruption.

Recommendations on implementation of the UNCAC by Transparency Kazakhstan are the first attempt to apply a systematic approach to the UNCAC implementation. The aim of the UNCAC will be to form current legislation without any of the gaps which create the conditions for corruption to spring up.

Our recommendations propose for a wide range of concrete steps on the work of specialized preventive anticorruption bodies, subjects of corruption crimes, etc. The paper is in Russian language only.
