24-25 June 2010, in Astana, Kazakhstan, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Fighting Economic and Corruption Crime (Financial Police) joint with the OSCE Center in Astana, United Nations Development Program, European Commission and Transparency Kazakhstan planning to hold International Anticorruption Conference.
The theme of the Conference - “Counteraction corruption: International mechanisms and tools”.
The Conference will provide a forum to exchange experiences and to study Council of Europe Conventions «Criminal Law on Corruption», «Civil Law on Corruption» and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
A special session will present the recent experience of Kazakhstan in fighting corruption.
The Conference will provide opportunity for sharing the best practices in the fighting corruption sphere, as well as will be serving as a basis of strengthen co-operation between colleagues from different countries and organizations.
